There is just something about palettes that I love. Maybe it is the fact that all the colours look so pretty together, maybe it is because of the packaging. I much prefer buying palettes compared to buying single eye shadows. In fact, I only own one single eye shadow. I know, I know, that is how much I love palettes.
Out of all the palettes on the market, I gravitate towards the neutral palettes because I do not like to wear colour on my eyes on a daily basis. There are a lot of good ones out there, including the naked palette and the lorac pro palette.
Too faced makes a lot of good palettes as well, such as the natural eye palette. The packaging for the palette has become sleeker compared to their old cardboard packaging. The closure is still magnetic, but I would have much preferred a snap closure since the magnet isn’t that strong and I don’t want my palette opening in my bag or luggage. Other than that, it is made of tin and super cute.
The shades in this palette lean more towards the warmer side, especially the last row. The first row is completely matte, as well as the shade nudie in the last row. Nudie and Cashmere Bunny make great transition / crease shades, while Sexpresso would make a great liner shade.
The texture is soft and fine. Apart from Heaven, they all offer great pigmentation. With eye primer, they last a good 10 hours on my lids without creasing or fading. The glitter in Chocolate Martini and Erotica are quite chunky, but nothing super noticeable.
My favorite shade is probably Honey Pot or Push-Up. I love to wear it all over the lids, and then with a bit of contour in the crease and a darker shade in the outer edges. Silk Teddy is also a great shade on days where I just want something really subtle on the lids.
Overall, it is a great palette for beginners or those that want to expand their collections. Super cute packaging and good quality shadows. Great versatile palette that can be used for a day at work, to a night out in town.
