Review // Lorac Pro Palette

DSC00120

One of my favorite palettes ever is the lorac pro palette. It comes with 16 shades and 8.8g (.32 Oz) of eyeshadow. It also comes with a 5.5g (.19 Oz) mini eyeshadow primer. It is 42USD I believe, and I got it from beauty.com, since Sephora no longer stock Lorac. I used YouShop to ship it to New Zealand.

The quality of the eyeshadows are amazing. I know everyone uses buttery to describe the naked palettes, but the Lorac Pro palette, especially the bottom row, is the definition of buttery. The matte shades can be quite chalky, especially the lighter shades, but it is the shimmery shades that really shine in this palette.

swatches

Top row: White, Cream, Taupe, Light Pink, Mauve, Sable, Espresso and Black

Bottom row: Nude, Champagne, Gold, Light Bronze, Pewter, Garnet, Deep Purple and Slate.

Favourite shades: Espresso, champagne, gold, pewter and garnet

Least favourite shades: Light pink, white

A few of the lighter shades don’t seem to show up in the swatches. Perhaps it was because of my phone camera.

Overall I prefer this palette over the naked palette. Both palettes are amazing, but I think this one is just a bit better, especially since it comes with more matte shades. However, this palette comes with less product, despite having more shades, so if you use this everyday you’ll probably hit pan really quickly.
